The best and easiest way to transform your walls is by PAINTING. Well coordinated coloured walls freshen up your living area making it brighter, cosier and warmer depending on the desired effect!

At LIVING DECOR we have compiled a couple of tips that will ensure your Paint job goes as planned

• Start by using sandpaper to smoothen the intended surface to be painted.
• Fill holes and patch cracks with joint compound or filler and prime the walls before painting.
• Use painters tape(Not masking tape) to mark borders of where you do not want the paint to touch, this will give your paint job a nice straight finish.
• Use canvas drop cloths to prevent paint from sipping/ getting onto the floor.
• Finish one wall before starting another for a uniform finish/look





• If you are using more than one can of paint of the same colour, mix all the cans together prior to painting for uniformity. "Same" paint differs from one can to another.
• Wash your paint roller covers before use to remove fluff as this will give your walls a smooth finish.
• Take your brush/ roller and whisk away ensuring you don't use excessive paint to avoid runs. Let the bristles gently push the paint against the cut-in area where the walls meet.
